What is the extent of Disney patents concerning theming and particularly animatronics? Does Disney own ALL exclusive rights to modern animatronic concepts thereby making it impossible to theme an environment with life like characters without first gaining permission from Disney? Must new modifications and standard forms of applications be designed to avoid copyright infringement of Disney’s patents, Or can standard animatronic applications to include direct puppeteer control be used?
Again, thank you very much for your time and effort
