Disney And More blog (great one to follow) posted an interview/article recently with Eddie Sotto about his current company and projects, specifically a new L.A. restaurant design.
Check it out at:

and also check out the blog in general - written by a guy with great insider info and artwork that is posted in the blog. He has a great book for sale that I wish I could afford.

Sotto - keepin it classy.

I just sort of scrolled, I'll read it in full later when I have the time - but is the "25" look of the seats (could be "52") intentional?

Im wanting to think that i saw this article a while back...but i could be mistaken..

Its cool how we all see things differently, you see the chairs as 2s and 5s, I saw them as a stylized letter "R"(maybe for Rivera), some forward some backward...Im not sure what they are but either way its a cool design, and he kept that central icon flowing throughout the entire space and exterior.

The R is for Rivera. They worked at that particular part of the design for quite a long time (chairs). Then they found ways to work it into the design plan for other parts of the restaurant, too.
