The World's Worst Theme Parks
Where not to take the kids on your summer vacation.
BY BENJAMIN PAUKER | JULY 4, 2010

Disneyland and Six Flags may conjure up images of log flumes and roller coasters, long lines and egregiously priced cotton candy, but it's not always fun and games. Here are six theme parks where it's more propaganda than Pinocchio, more geopolitics than Goofy.

That was fun. A couple of those actually look like fun if you have nothing better to do in Lithuania or Korea.

Some of those are definitely not for kids! I've seen the Disneyland knock-off park before... There have been several of those overseas. Must drive Disney crazy! I saw photos of a "replica" Pirates of the Carribbean ride... and I still have to say that no one does these rides like Disney does. The copycats just don't manage to get half the level of artistry... but on the other hand, it probably provides a nice wonderland for people who might never be able to make it to the real thing... It would be neat, though, to see what people from different countries would come up with if they designed their own park like Walt Disney designed Disneyland for American audiences. For example, what would a totally original "wonderland" park designed completely for the culture of India audiences look like? Rather than copies, it would be neat to see "all new" originals...

In Mexico, They are obsessed with Disney and Mickey Mouse. Every young child from there has a dream to go to Disneyland. I went there and there was SOOO much Disney copyright material there. Business with Disney characters all over the place. There is so much Disney Copyright Material in Mexico that it is too much for the Company to handle. Small Business with Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse. There was a Daycare building there and on top of the Daycare building was a GIANT Mickey Mouse Statue. It wasn't an exact replica of him. But right off the bat it was Mickey. So many Disney Knock-off toys there. They should put a Disneyland Mexico to make that dream come true for the Children there. It was funny to see all the Disney knock-offs.
