OK, is there any resource that gives some rules of thumb about sponsorship value? If I have an attraction that I would like to offer up for sponsorship, where would I start in estimating it's worth as a promotional item to other companies?

If anyone has any actual examples or could direct me to such a place I would really appreciate it.

Thanks, Yellnick

It all depends ... which of course doesn't answer the question. Probably the biggest factor is the demographics ... there are certain groups that warrant larger $$, targetted groups can also be appealing. Everything is going to be driven by the numbers.

Take a look at www.sponsorship.com for a lot of good info (you can also list your sponsorship opportunity). They used to have more detailed listings which were very informative. For example, Six Flags had their listings there a few years ago and you could see exactly how much a sign cost on up.

Good Luck!

New Post Re: sponsors I said to myself as I posted the question, "I'm sure Tonya can help." And the very next day, there you is. Thank you very much.
