I'm working on a staging room for a live presentation. I need to know if there are any guidlines for the width of the aisles between the stanchions. ADA requirements state a minimum of 60 inches for wheelchair turnaround capability. Seems that the last time I was at a theme park, the aisle widths were narrower. This is an interior room.

If they are narrower then it's because it was built before the current code requirements went into effect.

For a standing show give yourself about 2 feet square per guest. You may wish to consult and interior design book or architectural standards(there are plenty of good ones). Many include not only ergonomic data, but also general code requirements.
