Hey guys. I have only a year of college left and I want to move to florida next year so I can try to get into the business more easily. I currently live in west virginia and the problem is that this state simply has no design companies or even a theme park. I want to become a concept artist or illustrator and I am extremely serious about my goals. I have a problem though. How would I go about getting a job so that I could establish a place to live down there? I mean I know I need to write employers and find contacts, but how in the world can I from way up here.lol. I need your help. Has anyone in the field experienced this problem? If so, could you please tell me how you overcame the problems and got your foot in the door? I need any help that someone can provide. Thank you again. Patrick

Um... there is a theme park in Virginia. Ever heard of Busch Gardens Williamsburg?

As for your problem, you ask the age old problem of Networking. Here's your answer: 1) Join TEA (themeit.com) and go to all their events. 2) Join IAAPA and go to their convention in November. 3) You may wish also to move to Southern California as there is just as much going on there as there is here in Florida.

The rest is up to you!

Nate
