Has anyone here participated in Imagineering's ImagiNations competition before?
Any pieces of advice? What did you think of the experience? _________________ Jason Read

This sounds A-MAZING!! I read a little about it, and from what I can gather, I THINK you have to currently be enrolled in high school or college to participate -- anyone know otherwise? Formally this takes me out of the running, but I'd love to get involved if I'm incorrect in my assumptions. |

You know matt, I was looking into this a while back and there is no clear rule on whether or not you have to be enrolled in school to enter. Or at least there wasnt when I looked at it. It did mention you had to be involved in an industry organization/job and so do the other members of your team, so there may be a way around having to be in school. It would be a cool opportunity though, a good chance to show off your skills. |

Not me. We found out that you have to be either currently enrolled in college or have just graduated so I was out of luck. I figured I would just get em in the real world! |

I just found out my team made it to the Semi-Final round.
I have to wait 2 more long weeks before I'll know if I get to go to WDI. _________________ Jason Read

Hope all goes well.
I am not allowed to participate since I have worked for Disney in the theme parks. Bummer.
If you get to the top don't forget your friends back here |

Wow congrats Jason. I didnt realize you were actually in the competition, I just thought you were wondering if anyone else was! Best of luck to your team, can you talk about your project or is that confidential right now? |

Wow, congrats to those folks...but I hope that the VR world isnt where everything is headed. The write-up wasnt very descriptive and from that, the project didnt sound very exciting to me...but i cant make criticism without seeing it first hand i guess. What do you all think?
I know what I think, and that's these boards are DEAD lately! I guess everyone is too busy enjoying summer....or working like some of us! |
