The closure of every SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment theme park in the United States could cost the company $233 million in lost revenue in 2020 as its attendance takes a 3 million visitor hit due to the coronavirus outbreak, according to a J.P.Morgan analyst report.
'The company looks forward to welcoming back its ambassadors and guests when it is safe to open again,' SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment said in a statement.
The money is part of a $15 million package officials say will help the city bounce back from the ongoing economic slowdown.
The temporary closures at Disneyland, Disney California Adventure and the four Disney World theme parks have been extended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney officials said.
Legoland California will remain closed until April 15 and Legoland Florida will stay closed through April 14, according to posts on the parks' official Twitter pages.
