My name is Alina Holder, and I am currently a senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Because I have a passion for fabricating new and unexplored environments, I plan to pursue a degree in Production Design with a concentration in Themed Entertainment, and graduate in May 2021. Some of my most notable skills include scenic painting, prop making, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop. I apply these skills to the student films I work on here at SCAD as a set dresser and Production Designer. A fun fact about me is that I performed in the Superbowl LI Halftime Show with Lady Gaga!

Designer

My goal is to immerse guests and audiences into new and unexplored worlds. When I go to a theme park, I not only forget about the real world, but I get to experience something new each time I go. When designing, I put myself in the guests shoes and ask myself, "What can make this more convincing." I love planning out every detail and elevate the story I'm working with. I am able to do this because of my experiences growing up. While I was in high school, I was Vice President of my dance/ drill team which really sparked my love of working with a team and accomplishing a larger goal. I also entered a bunch of competitions which lead to two college credit scholarships. My senior year, I was already taking college courses with SCAD, and I attended a five week program during the summer to take two classes earning me even more college credit. At my time here at SCAD, I have immersed myself in many extracurriculars such as student films, working paint crew in the SCAD workshop, as well as attending many workshops to advance my skill sets. I want to share these experiences and lessons I've learned through my work, so that I can inspire guests/audience can have memorable experiences with their families and friends.
