A passion for storytelling has guided my academic and professional life, leading me to study Dramatic Writing (B.F.A) with a minor in Film & Television at the Savannah College of Art & Design.
Though born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI, I moved throughout my childhood, landing in Fort Mill, SC. There, I graduated with honors from Nation Ford High School in 2023. Despite growing up across the country, I knew one thing. Stories were my home.
This passion initially manifested as acting in theater productions from ensemble to lead roles. Yet, at 15, I realized my heart lied on the page. Writing provided me an outlet to tell the stories I wanted to see produced instead of waiting for them to be told. Additionally, being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, writing became an opportunity to represent my community. My favorite writers, in any medium, crafted characters who helped me find comfort in my identity, and I strive to return the favor to my own audiences.
