Once upon a time, a young boy went to school, visited theme parks every summer with his family, got educated, started a career in Email Marketing and got married. Yay!

Well, as you may have gathered that young boy was me. The marriage part is yay but the job, not so much!
Well, I'm good at it and it pays well but it doesn't ignite the fire inside me. I've always been ambitious and I know that I have so much more to offer to life than by sending emails.
Over the last year, I have been on the journey of self-discovery, specifically to discover my purpose. What is my reason for being?!
After reading many books and listening to many podcasts and YouTube videos, it hit me when I was watching The Imagineering Story on Disney+ a few months ago! The answer has been staring me right in the face all along!
As I watched it, I thought to myself, if there is any job I would love to do in the world, THIS WOULD BE IT! Why? Because, I have always taken satisfaction by bringing joy to others! That is my reason for being! It always has been and always will be!
What better way to live out my purpose in way that creates meaningful and memorable experiences to others, and through a concept I have loved since childhood - Themed Entertainments.
Alas, the reality of being nearly 40 years old brought me back down to earth.
I've not been able to get it out of my head since the a-ha moment and I thought to myself, 'so what if you are nearly 40?! There are still many years ahead of you. What is the worst that can happen? You'd end up where you are now, which by all accounts, isn't that bad. It's worth a try. Go for it'.
Here I am, ready to follow the yellow brick road so that I, too, can live my happily ever after!
