About Me
Born and raised in Miami, Florida as a second generation American in a Cuban household where passing stories and having large family parties kept us together. Weekend trips to Orlando to visit the Magic Kingdom, having my parents take me to stand in line to watch the latest blockbuster, and staying up all night to play video games with my little brother and cousins were all my favorite parts about my childhood. They are also what solidified my love for storytelling.
My story
On a trip to Hutchinson Island when I was around 12 years old I grabbed a piece of napkin from the restaurant my family and I were at for dinner, and started laying out basic plans for a Value resort for Walt Disney World centered around Disney Villains. For months on end I drew on any paper I found and continued designing this idea. It was then I knew exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up. So I went ahead and tried to create a path to Imagineering. I even got into the DCP in fall of 2019. But a few months later the world shut down, and I didn't know what to do from there...except learn more and grow my skills. Here I discovered an entire industry outside of Imagineering where there were so many more amazing possibilities. Since then, once the world began to reopen I packed my things and moved back to work frontline as some of the most iconic theme parks and continue on my path to make my career in Themed Entertainment where I can tell and bring to life some of the most amazing stories. After all it's stories that bring the world together.
