Grew up on a farm in Northern Illinois, enjoyed family trips to THE City (Chicago) to visit museums, art galleries, plays, musicals, etc. Moved to DeLand when I was 12 bc my parents acquired a radio station. Married, children, grandchildren. Hobby - horseback riding
My story
I started at the FL Ag Museum 4 years ago as a volunteer. I soon realized the Museum was about to close and was to be donated to Flagler County. I decided to step up and try to save this potential gem...460 pristine acres with a few old buildings brought in from across the state. Today we are financially self sufficient with enough income to cover daily operating expenses. Now for the scary step.....TO GROW and need a ton of help! We are not actually a "theme park" but "ag....museum...." is kind of boring. We need to be FUN!
