My story
Despite my current experiences the reason I became an engineer was due to the "last Lecture" by Randy Pausch. My family are all medical professionals, however, I knew that wasn't the avenue I wanted to explore. In high school where you and all you’re collogues are trying to figure out ones purpose, I remember my PALS (Peer Assistance & Leadership) teacher showed the class the Randy Pausch lecture to drive home the idea of not giving up on your dreams. That day I remember going home to research the Imagineering position and it solidified that I didn't need to follow the family footprint of becoming a medical professional but instead embark on a journey to unapologetically pursue my own dreams.
