I am a mechanical engineer hoping to break into the themed entertainment field with these technical skills for an entertainment-focused application.

I am Turner (TJ) Marks: A third-year mechanical engineering thinker currently at Northeastern University, but originally from North Jersey. My engineering lifestyle can be seen in many facets: Physically, I love to apply Newtonian mechanics to rock climbing problems. Artistically, I love to spend time breaking down sound waves that brass instruments utilize to evoke emotion. On campus, I engage with these engineering applications as the president of competitive club rock climbing team, the tuba section leader of the pep band, and part of the eBoard for Northeastern University’s Theme Park Engineering Club. During semesters, I enjoy working as a Teacher's Assistant for the first-year engineering program, where I get to develop my own engineering perspectives by curating effective and fun learning through creating new assignments and guiding students through such assignments. Most recently, I have had the pleasure of being an R&D Engineering Co-op at embecta, gaining industry experience based on my in-class developed skills. I hope to use my past experiences to work in the Theme Park Engineering field evoking emotion as I have in music with a technical focus as I have had in the classroom!
