About Me
I am fourth year scene design student at UNCSA. I am hoping to pursue themed design/narrative corporate work.
My story
I began as a musical theatre student the high school for performing and visual arts in Houston, Texas. After hurricane Harvey, the costume shop asked for hands for our production of Cabaret. After my 4 weeks in my costume design rotation, I changed my major to tech. After that, I surfed my way through other areas of sound design, scenic paint, and scenic construction, before migrating to scene design. I loved theatre because I loved story, but also wanted to be a part of stories that were uplifting as much as they were important. This, and the myriad of interesting problem solving introduced, is why I love themed entertainment design. When I realized this, I decided to pursue Scene Design at UNCSA where I will be graduating in May.
