Lauren Wood Weaver has held key roles in the global amusement and entertainment industry for over 15 years. Lauren joined Sally Dark Rides, the dark ride and animatronics manufacturer, in 2007 as a member of their sales team. With her extensive experience in modern campaigns, she quickly progressed to the business development team and then to the role of Director of Marketing and Business Development in 2014. In 2020, Lauren was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Business Development and currently manages Sally Dark Rides’ brand presence, overseeing all advertising, communications and public relations. As a key member of Sally’s business development team, Lauren spearheads strategic partnership efforts and has contributed her skills to secure a variety of major clients and marketing agreements.
In addition, she manages all trade show coordination, organizing the company’s expo presence internationally, and is an active leader of Sally’s expo sales team. In total, Lauren has executed more than 20 trade shows over the course of her career. Lauren also holds additional responsibilities, such as social media management, IP relationship management, and product development.
