Theron Skees is the former Vice President, Creative Portfolio Executive with Walt Disney Imagineering and is the founder of The Designer’s Creative Studio. His nearly 30 year career in Themed Entertainment spans Theme Parks, Hotels, Attractions, RD&E and Cruise Ships. He's worked on three continents, telling stories to different cultures through dimensional, experience design. Some notable projects include: The Tower of Terror attractions at the Walt Disney Studios theme park in Paris and Orlando, Disney Springs, The Magic of Walt Disney Animation, Hong Kong Disneyland Imagineering Studio and resort expansion including Imaginations Asia launch and finally, the Disney Cruise Line portfolio including design and leadership for the three new ships, all dry docks for existing ships and Castaway Cay.

I started my 30 year career journey in film and television and moved on to the more permanent medium of Themed Entertainment Design where I have worked primarily for the \"Legacy Brands\".  I\'ve spent the last 23 years of my career with Walt Disney Imagineering as an Art Director, Design Leader and currently a Creative Vice President. In that time, I have been blessed with the opportunity to dream and build attractions, theme parks, hotels, RD&E and now cruise ships on three continents. In addition, this breadth of  experience has provided many opportunities to teach, guide and mentor many \"next generation\",  Themed Entertainment Industry professionals- something I truly enjoy!
