Alchemy of Earth is a nighttime theatrical experience telling the story of how our planet came to be. Join Air, Earth, Water, and Fire as they battle an evil unlike anything they’ve ever known, the Void. Can peace and harmony over come evil or will the Void’s darkness consume the planet?
Before concept work began a full version of the script was written to fully develop the storyline. Soon after, storyboards were created to illustrate the key moments from the show.
Concept illustrations of the entrance facade were creative to show the guest’s journey before the show even starts. The entrance facade serves as the bridge between our world and this newly untouched world guests are about to experience.
The costumes for the main cast were designed to symbolize the personified element they are playing. A detailed headdress is the main feature of each costume, creating unity amongst the cast.
The Spirit Guide puppets are large scale fabric based puppets controlled by a single puppeteer. These majestic beings further the “otherworldly” theme of the performance.
Oh hey you made it! I’m Corinne! I recently graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design and have gotten my BFA in Illustration and minor in Art History. I specialize in Concept Development and Themed Entertainment Design. I also served as President and Events Coordinator at TEA@RCAD, a professional student organization founded in 2017 at Ringling College. The organization runs in conjunction with the Themed Entertainment Association’s NextGen Initiative.
Somehow I’ve been lucky enough to have been recognized on a national level for my illustration work. Most recently by designing a custom livery for United Airlines that was painted on a Boeing 757 operating aircraft! (I know, I’m shook too) Check it out in my portfolio to learn more here. The plane is currently in service traveling around the United States and to the UK.
Ever since my first trips to Disney World I’ve always admired the way the parks immersed guests in fantasy worlds. Since starting school at Ringling I’ve been able to become fully immersed in the world of Entertainment Design, furthering my passion for it. I hope to one day be able to create the same worlds I admired so much as a child.
Now 15 years after my first theme park trips I am spending my days at Quantum Creative Studios creating these experiences for guests all around the world to enjoy! It really is the dream!
I am always excited to work with new people! Shoot me a message, I’d love to work together!
