International themed attraction design company Katapult has joined forces with a global leader in robotic systems, immersive education and amusement technologies, motion simulators, DOF Robotics to design NEO Cappadocia – an ambitious new leisure destination currently under development in Cappadocia, Türkiye.
Officially revealed at the first ever TEA Explores Istanbul event, Neo Cappadocia merges cutting-edge attraction technology with authentic narrative world-building, creating a next-generation destination designed to captivate regional visitors and international travelers alike.
Katapult worked closely with DOF Robotics to translate high-tech motion and sensory hardware into a cohesive, story-led guest journey. The collaboration highlights Katapult’s strategic design expertise in bridging high-impact ride systems with wider resort masterplanning and multi-day guest environments. This includes the design of unique hotel suites and hospitality spaces.
Unique experiences

NEO Cappadocia will include three unique experiences telling the stories of the local area. In NEO Flight, a flying simulator will allow guests to imagine being a bird as they soar over the fairy chimneys of Cappadocia and take in the scent and warmth of the sunset.
After walking through the explorer’s workshop, guests will journey on the all-weather balloon ride, as they gently rise to reveal the valleys, dovecotes and rock-carved churches from below. And finally, in the Theatre, guests will witness thousand year-old legends come alive on a giant scale, right before their eyes.
Creating a destination

NEO Cappadocia is more than an immersive entertainment destination. Guests will be able to both stay overnight and dine in luxury on the picturesque roof terrace.
While rooms are inspired by the rock textures, soft terracotta tones and handcrafted details of the Cappadocian landscape, guests will oversee the inspirational valley with a cocktail at the panoramic Roof Terrace.
Neo Cappadocia represents a forward-thinking benchmark in regional anchor destinations, blending cultural heritage with high-thrill technology. Further development milestones and behind-the-scenes design insights will be released across 2026 and 2027 as construction progresses.
