The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) announced the recipients of their prestigious TEA Thea Awards at IAAPA’s Attractions Expo today. Clearly one of the most anticipated announcements of the week, the large, square networking booth was crammed shoulder to shoulder, with onlookers filling the aisles, each anticipating the list of attractions and parks which will be celebrated for their achievements at during the 25th Annual TEA Thea Awards Gala. Presented by sponsor Chimelong, the event rounds out the three day TEA Summit to be held in Anaheim April 11-13, 2019.
“This is our twenty-fifth year and we’re giving awards to visitor experiences that really excel,” said TEA President, Michael Mercadante. The TEA Thea Award is known as one of the industry’s most cherished honors with 1,000 industry leaders gathered to celebrate the best in the craft.
